Lars has 10 years’ experience with the Norwegian Armed Forces, most of which was spent in the Norwegian Special Forces. He has a BsC in Finance and over four years’ experience working within The Norwegian Shipowners’ Mutual War Risk Insurance Association (DNK) in the areas of  security and contingency preparedness, cyber security and digital development.

Erlend has extensive experience from the maritime industry, with a background as a Senior Risk Management Consultant at DNV and operational sailing experience in the Norwegian offshore sector, where he previously held a deck officer licence. He holds a Ph.D. in Nautical Operations from NTNU, specializing in operational maritime cyber resilienceand anM.Sc. in Management of Demanding Marine Operations. At NORMA Cyber Erlend is responsible for member engagement.

Chief Technology Officer

Øyvind has 12 years’ experience with the Norwegian Armed Forces where he worked within information security, data analytics and intelligence. Before joining NORMA Cyber, Øyvind worked at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for three years where he led projects involving digitalisation and machine learning. Øyvind holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering and a MSc in Informatics, both with a specialisation in information security.

Head of Intelligence

Arne has 25+ years’ experience from the private and government sector, including 7 years as Chief Security Officer in Sopra Steria, 5 years as Head of Technical Analysis in the Norwegian National Security Authority and two years as Senior Engineer in the Armed Forces. Main focus the last 15 years has been operational cyber security and cyber threat intelligence.

Head of Security Operations Centre (SOC)

Eirik Bue has several years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Senior Engineer where he focused on information security and intelligence. Before joining NORMA Cyber, Eirik worked as a System Developer focusing on Industrial Automation. Eirik holds a B.Sc in Computer Engineering. Eirik heads the Security Operations Centre.

Manager OT Security

Øystein Brekke-Sanderud has over a decade of experience from offshore and subsea where he held several roles, among them as lead project engineer. Øystein holds a B.Sc. in Digital Forensics

Senior Maritime OT Security Analyst

Halvard Barstad has experience working as a Cyber Security Engineer in the Product Cyber Security team in Kongsberg Maritime where he focused on product certification and customer projects. Halvard holds a M.Sc. in Informatics with a specialization in Secure and Reliable Communication.

Cyber Security Analyst

Ole Nese has a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Applied Cyber Security from the University of South Wales. Ole has a background from Noroff's network and IT security program along with  IT experience from Fjord1. He is certified as a Nozomi Networks Engineer.

Lead Penetration Tester / Security Analyst

John Velo has experience in penetration testing and Security Operations Centre (SOC), where he has supported efforts to maintain and improve digital security. John is a certified penetration tester and holds Bachelor's degrees in Cybersecurity and Entrepreneurship.

Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Marthe Brendefur has several years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces, where she has among other things, served in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Marthe has a Bachelor degree in Digital Forensics. She is an analyst in the Intelligence and information sharing group, focusing on cybercrime.

Senior Intelligence Analyst

Morten Østbye has more than 10 years’ experience from Information Security and threat intelligence from the Norwegian Armed Forces and the healthcare sector. He has worked in several Security Operation Centre’s (SOC). He holds a M.Sc. in Information Security with specialisation in Digital Forensics. He is an analyst in the Intelligence and information sharing group.

Administrative Consultant

Ida has extensive experience in customer service from the airline industry and the healthcare sector. At NORMA Cyber Ida supports on all administrative tasks in a 50% position.  Ida holds a Bachelor's degree in music and vocal technique degree from Copenhagen.

Senior Security Analyst

Dieuwke has 5 years of experience at the Dutch Ministry of Defense, where she was part of the cyber defense team, focusing on detection engineering and intelligence. She holds M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.

Senior Technical Lead

Daniel has a background in computer electronics, software development, cloud infrastructure and education. Before joining NORMA Cyber, he worked as Head of Department for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Hamar katedralskole, where he led the department's educational programmes while teaching software development, IT operations and cybersecurity.
